Agronomy
PJA consultants are qualified to the highest standards.
Peter is a member of R.I.P.T.A. (Register of Independent Professional Turfgrass Agronomists) as recommended by the 'R & A' and the golf unions.
Clients continue to provide glowing comments and recommendations in support of the agronomy input and advice supplied by PJA which has helped to improve golf courses to the absolute delight of members and owners.
With a wealth of experience in the fine arts of greenkeeping including BIGGA workshops, college lecturing, writing articles and sitting on liason committees at three colleges, Peter Jones is in a position to provide excellent training.
Training is usually carried out on site but it is also possible to have training carried out off site at a venue of the clients choice or one selected by PJA.
Areas covered would normally include:
Training requirements analysis of staff.
Appraisal of staff structure.
One to one management training for head greenkeepers.
Group Training sessions.
NVQ portfolio building, assessment and verification to national standards.
The head greenkeeper from Guernsey was presented with a medal of excellence at Buckingham Palace in 2004 following "one to one" mentoring by PJA.
